Valerie Larabee, recipient of this year's Dr. Kristen Ries Community Service Award, State Senator Ben McAdams (D), recipient of this year's Pete Suazo Political Action Award, and "Local Hero" award recipient Pat Bagley. These individuals will be honored alongside our 2012 Grand Marshal at the Grand Marshal Reception which kicks off the Utah Pride Festival on Friday, June 1, at the Leonardo.

Announcing 2012 Headliners!
Headlining the Festival this year is a diverse array of contemporary and classic performers, Prince Poppycock, Frenchie Davis, and Kristine W. They and others will perform throughout the day on June 2-3 on four stages located on Festival grounds in Washington Square Park.

Grand Marshall for 2012 Festival: Dustin Lance Black
Screenwriter, director, Academy Award winner, and playwright Dustin Lance Black will Grand Marshal this year's Utah Pride Parade on Sunday, June 3, 2012. Black will also be honored alongside Valerie Larabee, recipient of this year's Dr. Kristen Ries Community Service Award, State Senator Ben McAdams (D), winner of this year's Pete Suazo Political Action Award, and "Local Hero" award recipient Pat Bagley at the Pride Festival's Grand Marshal Reception on Friday, June 1, at the Leonardo.
